Matthew Tyler Vorce and Billie Eilish have broken up. In a Monday Instagram Story, Vorce, 30, acknowledged that he and the “Happier Than Ever” singer, 20, had split up while addressing reports that he had strayed. “Nobody had been unfaithful to anyone. Relationships come to an end. It’s as simple as that. It is harmful to spread falsehoods and LIE on the internet, “he penned

Vorce seemed to address the anger he’s received from Eilish’s admirers in a different Story, saying, “Thousands of people taking time out of their day to write the most awful things on a post that they will never read is the most cowardly thing you can do. You should live your own life.” Eilish’s representative has yet to respond.

Eilish and Vorce fueled dating rumors in April 2021 when they were caught getting close on a coffee run in Santa Barbara, California. Vorce has appeared in horror films such as Mother, May I Sleep with Danger?, Little Monsters, and various short films.

The singer talked about how much better she felt after her tour for When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? It ended, and she broke up with her then-boyfriend Brandon Adams in a Rolling Stone cover story published that June. “I was prospering at the moment,” she claimed. “I felt like the person I was. Everything around me was just how it should have been. I felt as if I was improving. I felt better than I had in a long time. And I tried to keep going.

The musician also talked about how she was learning to live alone. “I didn’t know how [to] before,” she explained, “which is hilarious since I’d never been in a relationship that enabled me to truly live with that person in the first place.” “It’s always because of someone else’s feelings, and that had been such a pain in the neck.

Eilish hasn’t publicly commented on the split, and reps for the singer didn’t immediately return our request for comment.

The actor issued a public apology on his Instagram Story for using “offensive” language on social media in the past, around the same time Eilish’s Rolling Stone cover was released. “I’d want to apologize for some of the things I’ve said on social media in the past. I apologize for using nasty and reckless language, and I recognize how disrespectful such comments are “he penned. “That doesn’t matter if it was a song, a quotation, or simply me being stupid.

“I‘m embarrassed and extremely remorseful for using them in any circumstance. It’s not how I was raised, and it’s not something I believe in.” Matthew went on to express a few more things. “I shouldn’t have used this language in the first place, and I won’t know.” I apologize profusely for the distress I’ve caused. “I accept full responsibility for my actions and will do so in the future.” Vorce’s apologies came after abusive language and insults towards Black and LGBT people were reportedly used in tweets and Facebook postings.
