Marcia Harvey’s Relationship Detail
Marcia Harvey’s early childhood is little known except that she was born into an African-American family who was not wealthy. However, she began working at Saks Fifth Avenue, a department store and met Steve Harvey a few years later at a wedding reception of a mutual acquaintance.
The author was married to Steve from 1980 till 1994. The couple’s twin daughters, Karli and Brandi, were born on August 20, 1982, and their son, Broderick Harvey Jr., was born on April 29, 1991. Steve abandoned Marcia and his three children to pursue a comedy career, so she raised them as a single mother.
As a result, the court ordered him to pay Marcia US$5100 per month in support payments when their divorce was finalized in 1994. Steve, on the other hand, did not pay anything. As a result, Marcia was compelled to file an affidavit in court.
Again, Steve was found guilty of not paying child support and owed her more than US$36,000. Even before his divorce from Marcia was finalized, further revelations of the divorce process showed that Steve had begun living with his second wife, Mary Lee Harvey. Marcia also later married Larry Greene and currently resides in Cleveland. She is a highly private individual who has never used social media.
