Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are not officially married. After the Grammy Awards on Sunday, the couple, who purportedly married in Las Vegas, had a ceremony. Still, it was not legal since they never obtained a marriage certificate, according to persons familiar with the case. “They had a ceremony, but it’s not legal yet on paper,” a source said Tuesday morning.

According to Clark County authorities, the pair never sought or got a marriage license or certificate. The duo’s representatives did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Page Six.

The wedding for the hot-and-heavy pair was full of Vegas kitsch, featuring an Elvis Presley officiant. The One Love Chapel appears to have made an exception for the celebrity pair since its website states that it will not perform a ceremony without a marriage license. In 2021, Kourtney and Travis were spotted on A Double date with Megan Fox and MGK.

This will be the initial wedding for the former “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star and Barker’s third. Kardashian and ex-husband Scott Disick have three children together, while Barker has two children with ex-wife Shanna Moakler. After dating for nearly nine months, Kardashian and Barker got engaged with a beachfront proposal in October 2021.

The musician proposed to his girlfriend at the Rosewood Miramar Beach hotel, decorated with red roses and white candles. He was dressed in a black and white striped shirt with dark slacks, while the reality personality was dressed in a flowing black gown. Kardashian started IVF, according to a teaser from the Kardashian family’s forthcoming Hulu series.
