Jenkins signed a four-year, $4.99 million deal with the St. Louis Rams after the 2012 Draft, including a $2.06 million signing bonus. After his debut season, he has 73 total tackles with 64 solos, four interceptions, and four touchdowns.

Jenkins finished the 2013 season with 61 total tackles, 14 pass deflections, and one interception. He has 64 combined tackles, 16 pass deflections, and three interceptions in his last season with the club in 2015.

In 2016, Jenkins was traded to the New York Giants. He signed a five-year, $62.5 million deal with the organization and had three combined tackles in the team’s 20-19 win against the Dallas Cowboys in the season opener.

This deal includes a guaranteed pay of $28 million and a bonus of $10 million, bringing his yearly compensation to $13 million. He moved to the University of North Alabama to finish his senior year.
