After over ten years of marriage, the couple filed for divorce in 2020 after the actor was accused of sexual assault and abuse. Harper Grace and Ford Douglas Armand are the children of Hammer and Chambers.

According to an insider, Chambers has “always” adored Hammer, and he is the “love of her life.” According to the second insider, “They had a lot of problems, but Armie’s rehab stint indicated that he was serious about making changes. The couple get along well and love spending time with the children.

The report drew no response from Chambers or Hammer. “We’ve decided to flip the page and move on from our marriage,” the pair stated when they announced their breakup in July 2020, adding, “As we begin into this next chapter, our children and relationship as co-parents and good friends will remain our priority.”

After they announced their split, Chambers filed for divorce. A source told PEOPLE in August 2021 that the Cupcake Wars actress had moved on from Hammer and was dating again. Chambers did not mention Hammer to her pals, according to the source.

Effie, a woman, accused Hammer of rape during a press conference with attorney Gloria Allred in March 2021. The actor allegedly “violently raped” Effie in Los Angeles in 2017. Hammer’s lawyer rejected the charges, saying their contract was “fully consensual, negotiated and agreed upon in advance, and mutually participating.” In February 2021, the Los Angeles Police Department opened an inquiry into Hammer.

The handsome hunk was already under fire before Effie’s news appearance because numerous women accused him of being aggressive and having unsettling fantasies. His talent agency dropped him, and he lost several film and television roles as a result. In December, his lawyer announced that the actor had checked into a treatment center and continued outpatient treatment.
