Travis Barker Breaks his Silence on his Recent Health Issue!
Travis Barker, a famous 46-year-old drummer of the rock band Blink-182, was hospitalized for a health disease on Tuesday. Later, it was reported that he suffered from Pancreatitis. Pancreatitis is a health condition in which there is redness and inflammation of the pancreas.
The Blink-182 musician received treatment at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and his wife, model and reality star Kourtney Kardashian was supporting him all the way. Thankfully, the 46-year-old musician is recovering and Barker gave his followers an update regarding his health on July 2.
Travis Barker wrote on his Instagram story, “On Monday when I went in for an endoscopy, and I felt fantastic. However, shortly after supper, I began experiencing tremendous pain, and I’ve been in the hospital ever since”.
“A little polyp was removed during the endoscopy from a highly delicate location, which is generally handled exclusively by specialists. Unfortunately, this caused damage to a vital pancreatic drainage tube. As a result, the patient developed acute pancreatitis, which threatened his life.”
Barker continued, “I am so incredibly thankful that the intense treatment I received has helped me to be so much better at this point.”
In the meantime, Kourtney, his wife, shared a post, writing, “Oh, what a terrifying and emotional week it has been.” Even though the state of our health is of the utmost importance, we frequently fail to appreciate how rapidly it can deteriorate. Travis and I went in for a regular endoscopy at the same time, and Travis was diagnosed with acute pancreatitis, which could be deadly.
The reality TV star further added, “I’m incredibly grateful for my husband’s recovery, for all of your blessings for him and us, and the great outpouring of love and support,” as she concluded her statement. Finding the right words to express my deep gratitude and appreciation is difficult for me.
Alabama Luella Barker, Travis Barker’s 16-year-old daughter, took to social media shortly after her father was admitted to the hospital to express her feelings and asked prayer from followers. Similarly, Tarvis Barker himself posted a tweet in which he wrote, “God save me.” Perhaps the tweet was a reference to a song he released in March.
The recent medical issue involving the artist had happened just one month after he and Kardashian hitched the knot in a glorious ceremony in Portofino, Italy, in late May.
