Later, they started living together just four days into their romance, sharing their time between El Moussa’s house in Orange County and Young’s home in West Hollywood. On day five of their relationship, El Moussa and Young stated “I love you” to one other.

During a beautiful weekend celebrating their first anniversary on Catalina Island, El Moussa proposed to Young. Young confirmed the engagement on her Instagram account on July 26, 2020. Her new fiancé placed a diamond rock on her ring finger, and she smiled in the photo. El Moussa had the engagement filmed for his show Flipping 101, and it aired on HGTV in October 2020. He had persuaded Young to film extra scenes to keep the surprise engagement a secret.
