Rooney Mara Is Pregnant, Expecting Second Baby with Joaquin Phoenix

Rooney Mara is expecting her second child with Joaquin Phoenix (Arlyn Phoenix‘s son ), three years after their son River Mara Phoenix was born. The news was reported on February 18.

Moreover, the celebrity wife showed off her baby bump at the premiere of La Cocina at the Berlinale International Film Festival in Berlin on February 16.

In addition, the pretty woman, Mara, 38, looked stunning in a strapless black ballgown, proudly cradling her growing belly as she walked the red carpet.

Similarly, Kathleen McNulty Rooney‘s daughter Rooney and Joker alum Phoenix have been notoriously private about their married life. The couple first met on the set of the film “Her” in 2013 but didn’t start dating until they worked together again on “Mary Magdalene” in 2017.

However, the Oscar winner revealed to Vanity Fair in October 2019 that he initially thought Mara “disliked” him, but later discovered she was interested but too shy to make a move.

“She’s the only girl I ever searched for online,” Phoenix shared. “We were just friends, emailing each other. I’d never done that before, never searched for a girl online.”
