Reese Witherspoon’s Daughter Opens Up About Her Sexuality
Ava Elizabeth Phillippe, Reese Witherspoon‘s daughter, opened out about her sexuality in a recent Instagram Q&A. Phillippe communicated with her almost million Instagram followers last week using the platform’s Questions feature, addressing a series of individual questions on her Stories.
One user questioned Phillippe if she prefers guys or girls, to which Phillippe replied with a simple answer. “I’m attracted to… everyone!” she commented over a photo of herself wearing blue eye makeup, adding in parenthesis, “Gender is anything.”
Phillippe is presently dating Owen Mahoney, a fellow UC Berkeley student she started seeing in early 2019. Ava is Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe‘s eldest child and the elder sister to Deacon Reese Phillippe, 18 years old. She also has an eight-year-old half-sibling, Tennessee James Toth, whom Witherspoon shares with her current husband, talent agent Jim Toth.

In November, Witherspoon spoke to InStyle about her children’s unusual upbringing, who, unlike the actress, was reared in the spotlight. “It’s an unusual circumstance for me because I didn’t grow up famous. So [Ava] is having an experience that neither I nor my sons have had “said the actress. “We are fortunate to have friends who grew up in Hollywood and can advise them on how to navigate.”
The artist declared that she fully supports her children’s journey to find their real identities. “Ava is really down to earth. She aspires to accomplish great things in the world “According to Witherspoon. “She’s researching, learning, and trying to figure out who she is. It’s a major deal in life to try new things and discover out what your true path is.”
In September, Phillippe celebrated her 22nd birthday. On Instagram, Witherspoon sent a heartfelt birthday tribute to her now-grown-up daughter, including a photo of her with a nice letter. “Happy birthday, my dear little girl…excuse me… I’m referring to my adult daughter!!! “She penned something. “Words can not express how proud I am of you. You have developed into a remarkable individual who is very concerned about the state of the world around her. I consider myself really fortunate to have you in my life. Ava, I adore you!!”
