Marcia Harvey’s early childhood is little known except that she was born into an African-American family. However, she began working at Saks Fifth Avenue, a department store and met Steve Harvey a few years later at a wedding reception of a mutual acquaintance.

Marcia Harvey rose to prominence during her marriage to Steve Harvey and subsequent divorce. Although the circumstances surrounding their divorce in 1994 are largely unknown, there is no doubting that Marcia was pregnant with their third child at the time. He has also served as host for the most significant period of any past host of the show.

The actor also hosts a spin-off called “Celebrity Family Feud.” Thanks to YouTube and the countless viral videos depicting his reactions to “Family Feud” contestants and their improper or erroneous answers, he has gained modern notoriety. In 2013, he was the first host to be nominated for both the Outstanding Talk Show Host and Outstanding Game Show Host Daytime Emmy Awards. 

The artist hosted the 2015 Miss Universe event in Las Vegas 2015. Despite his error, in which he declared the first-runner-up winner and had to admit a few minutes after she was crowned that he had misread the results, he went on to host the Miss Universe pageant in 2016, 2017, and 2018.
