Kelly Clarkson has slashed the price of her Tennessee house by over half a million dollars. The potential sale comes while she divorces her estranged spouse Brandon Blackstock, which adds a sense of urgency. The American Idol winner bought the house in 2012 for $2.86 million and put it on the market on and off for five years, from 2012 to 2017. According to the New York Post, the singer first advertised the home for $7.5 million in February 2020 but has since cut the price to $6.95 million.

The 20,121-square-foot estate is located in Hendersonville, Tennessee, about 20 minutes west of Nashville, on lakeside property. The stunning property features a double staircase and luxurious facilities such as a home theater, private dock, two spas, and a saltwater pool. The back patio, which overlooks the pool and lake, also has a double staircase, giving the home an even more luxurious sense.

In June, the Voice coach filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason. However, she accused her father-in-law, Narvel, of fraud and “illegal services” in December. Clarkson was originally sued by Narvel, who claimed she owed Starstruck Entertainment $1.4 million for her “Voice” contract, and that she was supposed to maintain paying the firm as long as she had her seat on the fan-favorite NBC show.

The American singer then defended herself, claiming that the father-son team was not licensed to function as agents in California and that they hid this information from her while “demanding outrageous fees.”The labor petition conveniently ignores the fact that Kelly had her own [reps at] licensed talent agency CAA at all times,” Bryan Freedman, an attorney with Starstruck Management Group, told Page Six via The New York Post. “While Starstruck Management Group provided talent management services on her behalf, it did so at all times that CAA was her agency of record.”
