JoJo Siwa Credits Jeena Dewan for her Gay Awakening!
JoJo Siwa, with the full name Joelle Joanie Siwa, is a famous American dancer, singer, actress, and YouTube and TikTok star. Recently, JoJo gave full credit to 41 years old American actress and dancer Jenna Dewan, the full name Jenna Lee Dewan for being a significant influence in her “Gay Awakening.”
The 19-year-old veteran JoJo uploaded a TikTok video with the Enjoy caption on Tuesday in which she raps over an instrumental of Nicki Minaj‘s Super Freaky Girl about the times she realized she was gay.
“When I was 12 years old, Demi Lovato released a song called Cool for the Summer. “I enjoyed it a lot, and I listened to it frequently,” Siwa said.
Lovato’s 2015 smash hit alludes to sexual experimentation with women; she remarked, “I didn’t know what that meant back then, but now that I’m much older I understand and I know what it means.”
During an episode of 4D with Demi Lovato last year, Siwa informed Lovato directly that something about Lovato’s song and her onstage kiss with backup dancer JoJo Gomez made her feel a certain way.
Years later, Jenna Dewan appeared in Lip Sync Battle. Her performance in Magic Mike was fantastic. Siwa said, “I watched it every day when she was married to Channing Tatum, and she was an actress and dancer.”
During her 2016 viral Lip Sync Battle performance to Ginuwine’s always-sexy “Pony,” Dewan wore a white tank top and backward ballcap made famous by her ex-husband in the film Magic Mike.
When Siwa was younger, she didn’t realize she was homosexual. “Some years later, on my first date, I was offered sex by a man. I refused, never wanted to, disgusted by the idea, and immediately realized men aren’t my thing,” she said.
Later, she finished the video by saying, “Women are my gig, gotta go,” before leaving the camera’s view.
Not long after that, she publicly declared her relationship with Kylie Prew. They broke up first in November of 2021 but reconciled temporarily this year before finally deciding to end things for good.
Siwa’s new boyfriend is Avery Cyrus, who is also famous online. The couple made their relationship public on the red carpet at the opening night of Alanis Morissette’s jukebox musical, Jagged Little Pill. Also, she wasn’t invited to the 2022 Kid Choice Award.
