James Joseph Brown was a singer, dancer, musician, record producer, and bandleader from the United States. He is known by the honorific nicknames “Godfather of Soul,” “Mr. Dynamite,” and “Soul Brother No. 1” for being the fundamental founder of funk music and a major figure in twentieth-century music. He affected the development of various music genres throughout his 50-year career.

Dee Dee hasn’t married since the termination of her first marriage. Brown’s 1984 remarriage to Adrienne Rodriguez. They remained together until Adrienne passed away in 1996 while recovering from plastic surgery. There are, however, theories that she was murdered, much like Brown was suspected of being murdered many years later.

Her ex-husband, James Brown, died of heart failure at the age of 73. When Brown was transported to Emory University Hospital in December 2006, traces of cocaine were discovered in his urine.
