Deborra Hope’s Death
Deborra Hope began to show symptoms of what would later be identified as Alzheimer’s disease. Her coworkers noticed she was starting to make mistakes with names and words while reading the news and that she was gradually becoming forgetful and confused, according to them. Because of her poor performance, Hope retired in 2014. She eventually entered a long-term care facility after living at home with her family for several years.
Hope died on October 8, 2020, at the age of 65, after treating Alzheimer’s disease for six long years. Her husband was the one who made the announcement. Many of her coworkers attended her funeral, and Global BC tweeted about her dismissal and expressed their condolences to her kin.
