Shia LaBeouf Denies Getting Fired From ‘Don’t Worry Darling’!

Shia LaBeouf, an American actor cum filmmaker, has denied the rumor that he was fired from the film, Don’t Worry Darling, directed by Olivia Wilde.

Don’t Worry Darling is an upcoming mystery thriller to be released on 23 September 2022. Further, the movie has Harry Styles and Florence Pugh in leading roles. As per the reports, LaBeouf was cast originally in the film for a lead role but later replaced with singer cum actor Harry Styles.

Wilde said that she fired the actor in order to create a safe, trusting environment on set and claimed that his acting process was not conducive to the ethos which she demands in her production. While LaBoeuf has denied the fact of being fired and has revealed that he willingly left the project.

The 36 years old actor was in the news headlines for some time for the rumors of being fired from the film by director Olivia Wilde. However, LeBeouf denied the rumor and clarified that he quit the film due to a lack of rehearsal time for the actors.

The Tax Collector alum was seen stating in the email he sent to the director, You and I both know the reasons for my exit. I quit your film because your actors and I couldn’t find time to rehearse. The incident happened in 2020, and the email was sent to Variety just after it covered the news of his fire from the film.

Likewise, Wilde clarified her side by saying, I say this as someone who is such an admirer of his work. His process was not conducive to the ethos that I demand in my productions and he has a process that, in some ways, seems to require combative energy, and I don’t personally believe that is conducive to the best performances.

She further added, I believe that creating a safe, trusting environment is the best way to get people to do their best work. Ultimately, my responsibility is to the production and to the cast to protect them. That was my job.

Before this, there was a rumor of a feud between the film director Olivia Wilde and the lead actress, Florence Pugh. Likewise, the director created buzz for her romance with the leading actor, Harry Styles, during the shoot of the film. The celebrity duo started dating after meeting each other on the set of the movie; however, they have kept their love life on low. Moreover, the soon-to-be-released movie, Don’t Worry Darling has created much buzz since 2020.
