Netflix Show Emily In Paris To Be Renewed For Season 3 and Season 4
Emily Cooper, Mademoiselle, will return. Netflix has announced that Emily in Paris has been renewed for a third and fourth season. The controversial rom-com series will premiere more episodes in the years to come, thanks to Season 2’s strong first-week performance — and thank goodness, because we were eagerly waiting to know what would happen to Emily’s (Lily Collins) love triangle. That is her second one.
Emily, an American marketing professional from Chicago with no prior French experience, is the protagonist in Darren Star’s series. She is forced to relocate to Paris after her boss resigns, and she must learn the habits of the Parisians to fit in at Savoir, an international marketing agency.
Furthermore, the beautiful lady has picked up a few tricks and pleased her employer in Season 2, but she’s keeping a secret from her closest friend, Camille (Camille Razat). She also has a slew of admirers vying for her attention. Sacrifice! Despite internet opposition from Ukraine’s culture minister and Chicago pizza chain Lou Malnati, Emily has a new 66 percent on Rotten Tomatoes in Paris.

“For all the (often justified) critiques leveled at Season 1, I will agree that Season 2 improves on a few areas; there are less digs at the French and more failures (and moments of self-deprecation) for the extremely naive Emily,” Jade Budowski of Decider says in her Season 2 review. “This makes the show much more interesting, too, as she’s not just parading around and saving the day at every turn without much effort.“
Collins leads the series along with Razat, Lucas Bravo, Ashley Park, Lucien Laviscount, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Kate Walsh, Samuel Arnold, and Bruno Gallery. She also works on the program as a producer. The show’s creator and showrunner, Darren Star, comes back to direct the second season, which has already topped the Netflix Top 10 list in 94 countries with over 100 million hours watched in its first week.
MTV Entertainment Studios, Darren Star Productions, and Jax Media created the Emmy-nominated series, which premiered in 2020. Tony Hernandez (JAX Media), Lilly Burns (JAX Media), and Andrew Fleming are executive producers alongside Star. Producers include Collins, Raphael Benoliel, Stephen Brown, Shihan Fey, and Jake Fuller.
