Julia Lemigova, Miss USSR 1990, is a former Russian model married to Martina Navratilova. She is a cast member of Bravo’s reality show The Real Housewives of Miami. Lemigova is a Red Army colonel‘s daughter. She was the first runner-up in Miss USSR in 1990, and she was promoted to be named Miss USSR after the original winner, Maria Kezha, was disqualified for being underage.
The artist represented the Soviet Union at the Miss Universe 1991 pageant as Miss USSR 1990, finishing second runner-up. Julia Lemigova, Martina Navratilova’s partner and the first openly homosexual Housewife, will make her reality debut in two weeks on The Real Housewives of Miami. While earlier cast members such as Braunwyn Windham-Burke and Brandi Glanville have come out as LGBTQ+, the actor is the first to identify as queer since her first season.
The 49-year-old appears to dodge the drama when her costars, including Larsa Pippen and Adriana de Moura, battle off in the new tear-filled RHOM teaser trailer, as she is shown kissing her tennis ace wife, Martina. While she makes a few appearances in the teaser, the preview largely focuses on the conflict between many women and Pippen.
Martina Navratilova’s Relationship With Julia Lemigova
Martina Navratilova was married to her longtime fiancée Julia Lemigova on December 15, 2014, in New York. She was in a long-term relationship with American novelist Judy Nelson. Navratilova and her fiancée Judy divorced in 1991, resulting in a public palimony case settled out of court.
The couple had been dating when Martina proposed to her during the US Open tournament in New York in September 2014. She accepted, and the pair married in New York on December 15, the same year. They are a bisexual couple that is happily married.
Julia Lemigova’s Sons Death
Julia Lemigova is now a successful businesswoman with a failed marriage to French financier Edouard Stern, who dumped her. Maximilian, the couple’s first child, died six months under mysterious circumstances. According to the autopsy, he became unwell while with his father and died due to brain damage.
Edouard’s Bulgarian nanny vanished soon after, and he suspected her of murdering the boy in vengeance for Stern. Stern was accused of murdering his son, but there was no evidence. Stern was envious and possessive, following Julia everywhere she went, and the model found it more difficult to endure.
Their marriage disintegrated shortly after their son’s terrible death, and Stern was discovered dead in 1995. Julia was in Paris at the time, opening a beauty business, and she was implicated for the death of her ex-mistress.
