Keith Carradine was born in San Mateo, California, the United States of America, on August 8, 1949, to actress Sonia Sorel and actor John Carradine. Christopher Carradine and Robert Carradine are his siblings.
Additionally, he has a maternal half-brother, Michael Bowen, and two paternal half-brothers, David Bowen and Bruce Bowen, who are all actors.

In 1957, Keith’s parents split, and his father gained custody of him and his two younger brothers. Carradine was raised later in life by his maternal grandmother. For eight years, his mother was not permitted to see him.

Following graduation from high school, Keith enrolled at Colorado State University. After dropping out of college after one semester, he began his acting career with the assistance of his brother David.

Keith’s brother, David, was found dead and naked in the closet of the Bangkok hotel. His neck and genitals were wrapped around by a telephone chord.

Keith has, however, previously been in several partnerships. Previously, he was married to Sandra Will. He has also been in a romantic relationship with actress Shelley Plimpton. He has a daughter named Martha Plimpton with actress Shelley Plimpton.

Shelley was married to actor Steve Curry during their romance. Four years later, Shelley and Curry divorced. Keith divorced Sandra Will, his first wife, in 1999. However, the couple had been apart for six years before the divorce. They are parents to two kids, Cade Richmond Carradine and Sorel Johannah Carradine.

Keith, 79, made his Off-Broadway debut in 2008 as Dr. Farquhar in the thriller Mindgame. In 2013, the actor was nominated for both a Drama Desk Award and a Tony Award for his portrayal in Hands on a Hardbody.

Keith Carradine’s Television and Movies Performance

Keith Carradine first appeared on television in a 1971 episode of ‘Bonanza.’ He was cast as Middle Caine in ‘Kung Fu a year later. In 1983, he was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for his performance as Foxy Funderburke in the miniseries Chiefs. He voiced Jonah Jameson in Spider-Man: The New Animated Series in 2003.

In 2004, he was cast as Nick Savage on ‘Complete Savages.’ He played Special Agent Frank Lundy in the criminal thriller series Dexter from 2007 to 2009. The actor also starred in the sitcoms Dollhouse and Damages during this same period. Carradine portrayed serial murderer Frank Breitkopf in two Criminal Minds episodes: No Way Out and No Way Out II: The Evilution of Frank.

In The Power of the Dog, he plays Governor Edward in the movie. Kirsten Dunst and her partner Jesse Plemons and Kodi Smit-McPhee also appear in the movie.
