Joy Behar, who has been on The View for over two decades, was surprised when she fell out of her chair on Thursday, March 3. Behar, 79, walked on stage during the live episode and abruptly slipped from her seat.

Her cohosts assisted her in resuming her seat, with Whoopi Goldberg who is suspended remarked, “These chairs move! When you touch it, you fall to the ground.” When Sunny Hostin mentioned that she had the same problem, Behar responded, “25 years, that has never happened. Who should I sue? I’m sure my husband is laughing at home.”

The New Yorker, who is married to Steve Janowitz, stated that she “just missed the step” and was not hurt. Later in the episode, Behar addressed the more severe consequences of her accident.

“Well, you know, I’m prone to falling. The main point is that when Bob Saget fell, he died.” “Go to the doctor if you hit your head and feel dizzy, have a loss of vision, or want to sleep because that will kill you,” she explained. “However, I’ve fallen a lot. I trip and fall all the time. I’m a blunder! But this chair, this chair reminded me of the exorcist. “It was the spring!”

Saget was found unresponsive in his hotel suite in Florida in January. He was 65 years old. As per the Orange County Medical Examiner in Florida, Saget died one month later due to “blunt head trauma” from an “accidental” fall.

“As we continue to mourn together,” the Full House alum’s family said in a statement to Us Weekly. “We ask everybody to recollect Bob’s love and laughter, as well as the lessons he taught us all: to be kind to all of us, to let those you love know that you love them, and to encounter difficult times with hugs and laughter.”

Following Saget’s untimely death, her former co-star Candace Cameron Bure opened up about her grief. “Every day it gets tiny bit better, but then it hits you out of nowhere,” Bure, 45, said of his death in February 2022. “I will truly miss his friendship, as well as the laughs and hugs.”
