Boitumelo Thulo was born on April 28, 1990, in Potchefstroom, North West, South Africa. Her maternal grandmother brought her up. Boity is the only daughter of her mom Modiehi Thulo. Speaking of education, Boity studied psychology and criminology at Monash University. Later, she dropped out as her mother was unable to pay for her varsity fees. Later, she signed to a casting agency which assisted her in appearing on a Wimpy commercial in 2010.
