Bella Hadid Regrets Getting a Nose Job at 14
Bella Hadid dreamed of being an Olympic-level equestrian, pursuing photography, and following in her mother’s stiletto-clad modeling footsteps when she was 14 years old. Fast forward a few years, and Hadid, along with her sister Gigi, is one of the most well-known figures in the modern fashion world.
However, after years of runway shows and iconic cover shots, some are beginning to wonder if a minor plastic surgery aided Hadid’s celebrity. In Vogue‘s April cover story, Hadid claimed, “I was the uglier of the two sisters. I was the brunette in the group. I wasn’t as hip or extroverted as Gigi. That is exactly what others have stated about me. And, unfortunately, when you’re told something repeatedly, you tend to believe it.“
The American model succumbed to her insecurities when she was 14, still a freshman in high school, and got rhinoplasty, something she now regrets. “I wish I had kept my forefathers’ nose,” she added. “I believe I would have matured into it.“
Aside from the speculations surrounding her nose work, Hadid has heard about having her eyes lifted, lip fillers, and her jaw shaved, but she’d like to put the myths to rest. “People believe I completely messed up my face because of a photo of me as a teenager appearing puffy,” she explained.
The beautiful lady added, “I’m quite sure you don’t look like you did when you were 13, do you? I’ve never used filler before. Let’s simply call a halt to this. I’m not against it, but it’s not for me.“

While the barrage of comments about her appearance has been unpleasant throughout the years, Hadid claims that “People made me feel like I didn’t deserve anything because I had impostor syndrome. People always have something to say, but I’ve always been misunderstood in my industry and by those around me.“
