Bridey Elliott, born Bridget Elliott on July 27, 1990, grew up in Wilton, Connecticut, with her sister, actress, and SNL alum Abby Elliott. She is the daughter of Chris Elliott, a Saturday Night Live (SNL) alumnus, and Paula Niedert Elliott, talent supervisor for Late Night with David Letterman.

Elliott attended the National Theater Institute in Connecticut in 2011 to study playwriting and performing. She also studied filmmaking at Brooklyn College in New York while doing sketch and stand-up comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB) Theatre. She worked at Kim’s Video and Music, a prominent Manhattan store recognized as a launching pad for future filmmakers.
