The Weeknd has helped fuel rumors that he is currently dating Simi Khadra, the ex-best friend of his ex-girlfriend Bella Hadid. The “Blinding Lights” singer, linked to Simi since April of last year, was spotted on a dinner date with her.

The 31-year-old Grammy-winning musician was photographed walking out of the opulent Sunset Tower hotel in West Hollywood on Wednesday evening, February 2. The pair appeared to have shared a meal in photos obtained by the Daily Mail.

The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, was seen on the phone in the photos. The “Sacrifice” singer was wearing a black coat with a matching face mask. Simi, on the other hand, was following him closely from behind. Simi, who performs as a DJ with her sister Haze Khadra, wore a black jacket and white pants. She removed her mask and wore her long, straight hair down.

Rumors circulated last April that the two were dating, prompting Bella to unfollow both of them on social media. However, until recently, the rumored couple had not been photographed together. Simi was also seen last month at The Weeknd’s album release party at Delilah in West Hollywood.
