The star of “Stranger Things” broke the news during an interview. She explained that she is now pursuing a degree in human services, which allows her to “learn about the system and how to help young people.”

The Human Services degree at Purdue is “intended to offer students a basic understanding of human development and family studies, skills for working with individuals in service organizations, and program assessment abilities,” according to the university’s website.

Even though Millie’s new lessons will cause her schedule to become busier, she is not going to let that distract her from concentrating on her career growth.

Her family’s production firm, PCMA Productions, is credited for the Netflix film Enola Holmes and its sequel, Enola Holmes 2, which is scheduled to be released this fall. Additionally, PCMA Productions is credited for the film Damsel, which is expected to be released in 2023.

Similarly, Millie is also a Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF, where she focuses on improving young girls’ access to menstruation health information and services.

She expressed in 2018 that it was a “dream come true” for her to become a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. “My goal is to advocate for as many children and young people as possible, to listen to their stories, and to get to know them.”
