Kanye West and Drake’s Benefit Concert to Stream On Amazon
In five years, Kanye West will play his first headlining gig at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Amazon Music and Prime Video announced on Tuesday evening that the Free Larry Hoover charity event, which will feature a special guest appearance by Drake, will be available to stream for free in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide on Amazon Prime Video.
The Free Larry Hoover benefit concert will be streamed live on the Amazon Music app and the Amazon Music Twitch channel. The concert will be available on-demand through Prime Video following the live event. A month ago, Kanye West hung out with Drake after wanting to put rappers’ dispute ‘to rest.’
In a statement, Jennifer Salke, CEO of Amazon Studios, stated, “We’re tremendously excited to be working with Kanye and Drake on this historic performance in favor of a cause they both care so deeply about, and to cooperate across Amazon for this huge entertainment event.“

The performance will be live broadcast in IMAX cinemas across the United States for a one-night-only IMAX Live event, in addition to being available through Amazon’s services. IMAX tickets are currently on sale on the company’s official website. The next event is expected to “put to bed” a long-running dispute between Drake and West. The duo’s event aims to raise awareness of Larry Hoover’s incarceration and prison and sentence reform support.
Hoover, a co-founder of Gangster Disciples, was convicted of murder, extortion, and money laundering in 1997 and is presently serving six life terms. For some years, West has utilized his position to help liberate Hoover. Following the postponement of his 2016 Saint Pablo Tour, Ye’s first headlining engagement in over five years will be the Free Larry Hoover benefit concert.
It will also be Drake’s first concert appearance since the tragic Astroworld Festival, which resulted in ten deaths and over 300 injuries, prompting lawsuits against Drake, Travis Scott, and Live Nation. Donda Touring, ITC Entertainment, and PHNTM will produce the concert.
