Hugh Jackman and his wife Deborra-Lee Furness celebrate their 25 wedding anniversary.

Hugh Jackman celebrated the 25th wedding anniversary to wife Deborra-Lee Furness with some throwback moments of their special day.

The 51-year-old captioned his adorable message via Instagram on April 11, 2021. He wrote:

“Being married to you, Deb is as natural as breathing. From nearly the moment we met, I knew our destiny was to be together. In those 25 years, our love has only grown deeper. The fun, excitement, and adventure more exhilarating, the learning even greater”.

Hugh Jackman shared several photos of their 1996 wedding, writing, “I’m forever grateful to share our love, our love, our life, and our family member. We’ve only just begun. Deb, I love you with all my heart”.

And for Valentine’s day, the actor posted another photo from his 1996 wedding day on Instagram where he and Furness were held up on their guest’s shoulders. The few months before this confession, Jackman revealed his secret to longevity in his marriage with Today.

In addition to staying true to oneself and finding the right person, Jackman also explained he and his spouse set some strict rules to keep their relationship strong. Deb was in the business before Hugh, and they are not going to spend more than two weeks apart.

Neither of them is going to work at the same time. So that one of them is always there is to support the other. They have successfully maintained that for well for the past 22 years. Furness met Jackman when he was playing on the Australian TV show Corelli, in which she played the titular lead in 1995.

The two fell for each other quickly and tied a knot the following year. The couple’s lavish ceremony was held at St. John’s Church in Toorak. They adopted two beautiful children in the early 2000s who age Oscar,20, and Ava,15.

During March 2020 interview, the Les Miserables actor opened up how the pandemic and being under lockdown actually brought the couple closer. Furness reflected on their relationship, saying how amazing was his bonding with his wife.

Jackman feels blessed he had met his soulmate on Anh Brush with Fame in October 2020. He adds, when there is someone so supportive, you can really stand buck naked. When you’ve got children and life, and whatever you stand, there is nothing better than that.

This is not the first time Jackman paid tribute to his beloved on social media. In 2000, the 52-year-old actor sweet message in honor of their 24th anniversary to which his longtime frenemy Ryan Reynolds jokingly responded, “Hang in there, Deb.”
