The current richest man on the earth, Elon Musk‘s father, Errol Musk, revealed that he isn’t proud of his successful son. The 76-year-old, in his interview with Australian radio, hosts Kyle and Jackie O on Monday morning, gave his views on his famous son and also discussed his and Elon’s romantic life.

When Errol was asked by the host if he is proud of Elon’s success; Musk’s father replied that his son had “surpassed the mark” of what he considered successful, but he also stated that the Musk family had “been doing a lot of things for a long time.”

“No, I’m not proud.” Well, it’s not like we just started doing anything; we’re the kind of family that has always done many different things.

Errol, however, revealed that Elon’s younger sibling Kimbal Musk is his ‘pride and delight.’ He also let the hosts and the listeners knew that Kimbal is a billionaire, too, just not nearly as rich as Elon.

Errol Musk claimed that he had been encouraging his son to eat healthier and take a supplement. He told the hosts, “Elon got strongly built, but he’s been eating badly.“

Also, later in the interview, it was revealed that the father of the Tesla CEO does not drive a Tesla but instead prefers a Bentley, Rolls Royce, and Mercedes-Benz as his ride.

Also, the South African electromechanical engineer revealed that his billionaire son does not simply give him money. He stated, “We are a very thrifty, stingy family.” He elaborated, “Every time I want to spend money, I have to justify it by giving a hundred different reasons.”

Errol also commented on Elon’s romantic life. He expressed concern that the billionaire will never meet a woman who, like Kimbal’s wife Cristiana Wyly, who puts her career on hold for family. Currently, Elon Musk is rumored to be dating Australian actress Natasha Bassett after a break-up from long-time partner Grimes. He was previously married to Justine Wilson and Talulah Riley.

Musk Sr. also discussed his own love life and revealed the circumstances in which his relationship with his 34-year-old stepdaughter Jana Bezuidenhout developed. He said it was when she reached out to him during a difficult time that their friendship turned into a romance. Currently, the couple share two young kids.
