Chris Rock Refused the Offer to Host Oscars 2023!

Chris Rock, an American stand-up comedian cum actor, has reportedly refused the offer to host the Oscars Award 2023.

Brown, the 57 years old actor, is being offered the Oscars Award 2023 to host the event with his amazing comic talents and stage handling capacity; however, he is continuously rejecting the offer after the slapping incident at the previous Oscar Award event.

Last time, the filmmaker was slapped by Will Smith on the stage of the Oscar Award for his jokes about Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, who is suffering from alopecia. Later, Smith apologized for the slap. The incident created a huge buzz; however, the comedian was benefited from the incident, and his live show tickets were sold more. People gave him full sympathy and were on his support. However, this time Rock is being brutally criticized for his latest jokes regarding the event.

As soon as the comedian revealed a hilarious comment on his rejection to host the Oscars Award, he was brutally trolled for his illogical comedy. He revealed during his standup comedy that he was asked to return to host the show in 2023. However, he had no plans to take over the Oscars stage again. He compared making a return to the Oscars to Nicole Brown Simpson‘s brutal murder in 1994. Further, Rock said hosting the event would be like asking Nicole to go back to the restaurant where she ate shortly before she was murdered.

In response to his comparison to Nicole Brown, the people have shown their aggression against him, stating that the comedian doesn’t have a sense of thinking and his disrespectful words toward women have led him to be slapped in front of all in the previous event. Even some of the Twitter users are saying that Rock’s behavior and cheap thinking over women really deserved that slap.

For now, it seems like Rock has no plans and intentions to come back to the same stage. Also, he hasn’t revealed his words after being criticized badly for his comparison to Nicole Brown Simpson.
