Ivana Trump, Ex-Wife of Donald Trump, Dies at 73!
Ivana Trump, a successful businesswoman, passed away at 73. She was the ex-wife of former US President Donald Trump. On Thursday, the former President announced that Ivana Trump, his ex-wife, had died at her home in New York City.
As of now, Ivana Trump’s death does not seem to have any foul play, according to the New York City Police Department. According to New York Fire Department, it responded to a 911 call regarding an “assisted individual” at around 12:40 p.m. ET.
The timing and location of that response matched the NYPD’s identification of Trump’s residence. The fire crew declared the victim dead when they arrived on the scene.
Ivana Trump was Donald Trump’s first wife. They were married from 1977 to 1992. Also, they have three children: Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump, and Eric Trump.
Ivana’s youngest child Eric Trump wrote following on his Instagram, “Our mother was a wonderful woman — a force in business, a world-class athlete, a radiant beauty, and a compassionate mother and friend.”
The Executive Vice President of The Trump Organization further stated, “She was a survivor of the Trump family. She left communism and accepted the United States as her new home.” He ended the post by saying, “Her mother, three children, and ten grandkids will all miss her terribly.“
On Thursday afternoon, when Eric Trump was leaving the apartment complex where his mother lived, he told reporters, “It’s been a terrible day.”
Former President Donald Trump, Praised his ex-wife Ivana on his social media site as a “wonderful, beautiful, and amazing woman, who led a wonderful and inspirational life.” “Her three children, Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric, were her pride and joy, and the entire family was proud of her” and added, “Rest In Peace, Ivana!”
Originally born Ivana Marie Zelnková, Ivana Trump grew up in communist-ruled Czechoslovakia. Similarly, Ghostbusters director late Ivan Reitman was also from Czechoslovakia.
The Charles University alum was a longtime executive in Trump’s business empire. Trump’s Castle, one of Trump’s Atlantic City hotels and casinos, named her CEO, and Ivana worked on Trump Tower’s interior design. Aside from that, she has written several best-sellers and launched her clothing label.
In the 1970s, she married Donald Trump and got divorced in 1992. Their marriage ended after the former President’s romance with Marla Maples, his second wife. Also, Tiffany Ariana Trump is the sole child of Donald Trump’s second wife.
